How to Use Stage Truss Lighting

Stage truss lighting is a more traditional lighting solution. The lighting fixture allows the floor and the ceiling to be lighting using one power source, so that if there is an electrical problem, the show will continue to operate.

The picture is a bit blurred because Canada is a strange place to conduct surveys, but we recently conducted a survey to find out if Canada was as nice as it appears on TV. The survey concluded that the Canadians are not as nice as we once thought.

Stage truss lighting is much easier to install. They have legs that pivot on hinges and the fixture is basically attached to the wall at the bottom. The light is centered on the leg, in what is called a S-shaped figure-eight configuration. The ceiling and the flooring are typically under the lighting fixture.

If you have an outdoor stage, you could use stage truss lighting to illuminate the stage. If you have a stage in a room that is going to be a concert hall, you could illuminate the stage from the ceiling, which would be much more dramatic. You could use stage truss lighting to show the dancers and the band members.

You can also use stage truss lighting to do partial lighting. For example, if you are having a part of the stage to be done out of the frame. You could use the lighting to illuminate the rest of the stage.

Stage truss lighting is a more conventional lighting solution, though you could use something like an overhead screen lighting system to light a concert hall. This could be great if you are a band and you want to do part of the stage lighting.

You can't expect to use stage truss lighting to illuminate ayard at night. You have to use spot lights. They are less costly, but they are not as efficient.
